Devilfruit was conceived by Ethan Hanzel and nurtured into what you see and hear today by Ethan, Jacob and Joseph. Come join the fun as the goons enjoy and review every anime that they can, then draft characters from the shows onto teams for weird and wild contests.

Here at Devilfruit, variety is encouraged and loved, so every now and then a bonus level episode may appear. In these episodes, the goons may share a little bit more about their favorite things in/from anime, watch and review a movie, bring on amazing guests or have a laugh with an off the wall anime related contest. You never know what could come next!

Regular Devilfruit Episodes

Kat (Ethan's fiancee/anime newbie) chooses a show for the gang to watch out of the three anime that the guys decided to pitch to her.
After watching the chosen anime, the guys discuss it, review it and then draft characters from the show to compete in the make-believe crew battles of the Chicken Bowl episodes.
the guys pit characters from the chosen anime against one another in a wacky competition of...skill? Anything from which character can eat a whole tomato the quickest to which character would be the worst bartender. There are lots of high flying arguments and laughs in these episodes!
The first host to reach 3 Chicken Bowl victories becomes the Season winner, and is subsequently in charge of developing a trivia game for the other two hosts to compete in. The questions will all revolve around the anime that was watched throughout the season.

Bonus Level Episodes

In these episodes, one of the hosts prepares and shares a list describing their top five contenders for some anime related topic.
Here the goons get together for a review of an anime movie, and they are sometimes joined by special guests.
In these episodes a guest will join the gang and take on the role of an anime movie producer and listen, judge and choose their favorite alternate reality anime movie pitch provided by each of the regular hosts.

Devilfruit Guidlines

A Devilfruit is a magical item that, when acquired, can be used at any time of the podcast to affect the user or any other host of the show in a fun and wild way.
3 devilfruit must be used if the user wished to do something that will effect all three hosts.
Devilfruit cannot be carried over between seasons, except for the 2 devilfruit earned by the Trivia show winner during the season finale.
1st place: Receives 2 Devilfruit and the ability to choose the genre from which everybody has to choose an anime to pitch to Kat in the next Choosarama
2nd place: Receives 1 Devilfruit and the ability to be the first pick for characters during the next character draft
3rd place: Gets ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
The host whose alternate reality anime movie pitch is selected as the best will receive 1 Devilfruit.
the host that wins will be able to choose the genre for the first choosarama of the next season and earn 2 Devilfruit that they can carry with them into the next season.
The first host to win three chicken bowls will be the season champion
